They took excellent care of our diabetic cat that was in crisis. We were there at 2 am on a weekend. Expensive but not terrible and our kitty is now fine.
We've been twice in two weeks. Poor pup has an unlucky anal gland issue. Our dog is quite the handful, and both visits we were taken care of in minutes. The staff were friendly and explained what was going on, and helped calm our nerves. I'll be sure to recommend this place to local friends and family. Thank you guys for taking care of our pup!
We had a great experience when our puppy hurt her leg last week. We are first time dog owners, so we had many questions and concerns- the staff and doctor...
Our cat had been to 2 other vets for an eye problem. On Sunday it was the worst we had ever seen it so we took her to the Emergency Animal Hospital. They were so kind. Although they could not do anything for our cat they did get us a referral to an Eye Specialist first thing on Monday morning. They also did not charge us for the visit to the Emergency Room. We were so grateful.
They were busy but we were seen in a few minutes. The doctor gave her a shot and all is well.
We have used the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County since it opened. We are extremely pleased with their attention over the years to our many dogs crisis issues. They are very thorough in their examinations and testing and they make sure that we understand the diagnosis and the treatment of each issue. They show compassion to every pet...and pet parents.
I was extremely impressed with all of the staff and vet. The vet did not charge me for unnecessary testing.
Very caring team. I was there for over 4 hours overnight on a Sat to Sub morning and they were able to get radiology reports back in less than an hour. The Veterinarian explained everything in detail and gave me all the time I needed to make a decision. They also let me visit with my cat in the back as he was in an oxygenated cage. I would highly recommend them.
My cat was very sick early one morning, and we quickly found this after hours hospital. We were able to be seen quickly upon arrival, and they immediately began diagnostics. The staff was caring and professional, and got to the bottom of the issue immediately. They were also able to recommend a facility for us to transfer our pet to after they closed for continued care. Our cat is back to her normal self, and we are so grateful for the services this hospital provided us!
I took an injured wild rabbit there this afternoon, and the doctor was so kind and professional! She took him and charged me nothing. I was so grateful to her, because I wouldn't have know what to do. Big thanks to your clinic!
The doctors and vet techs are professional and competent. I recommend this clinic for any animal emergency.
Our ER Vet was Dr. Christian Hoyt. There were several team members who helped us during our German Shepherd's overnight stay, from the front desk staff to the vet techs. I called almost every 2 hours for glucose results and no one complained I was calling so much. In fact, I was encouraged to call to check on my baby with fur. Dr. Hoyt was very patient, explaining to my husband and me, our dog's diagnosis. Dr. Hoyt was professional and empathetic. I am in healthcare, a nurse, I think he and the staff took care of our dog exactly how he needed to be cared for. Thank you all for what you do.
I couldn’t be more grateful for the help we received at EAHCC. Our 16 yr. old toy poodle was being treated by our family vet for heart and renal concerns. We...
We have had dogs here on two different occasions and always told up front the cost and asked for approval before going forward from the exam. The vets are very excellent and caring.
The staff here are extremely caring and professional. Our dog became quite sick while we were visiting from out of town. They worked fast and hard stabilizing her, and helped her get better. The information we were given was well-organized and we felt completely comfortable with our dog's care. We are very picky about our dog's care, and while we hope to not need to take our dogs to an emergency center again, we have no question if we again needed to, we would definitely go here, and recommend them to family and friends.
The wonderful staff and vets did a great job with my dog when he broke his femur. Unfortunately it turned out he had bone cancer and they broke the news to me with care and respect. They made sure he was in no pain when he had to be put down. They were very helpful with his end of life process and even sent me a condolence card. I cannot thank them enough for helping me through a hard time. Thank you Dr Jaeger and Samantha for all of your help.
Dr. Yager and the entire staff was highly professional and extremely caring not to just our dear loved dog, but to us also. We brought her in she was in critical condition, the dr took the time to keep her comfortable and allowed us time with her before we had to let her go. It was done with great compassion for her situation and our love for her. Thank you being there for her and for us as went through this heart breaking journey
The service was quick on a very busy night and staff was very courteous. Sandy was looked after and bandaged, no worse for the poorly nail clip by me causing bleeding that would not stop. All was well and we were on way home 40 minutes later.
Every person on the staff was friendly and compassionate towards my dog and me. Dr. Bowe is very thorough and gives detailed instructions about what is happening with my dog and how to care for him!
Always professional, compassionate, efficient, and attentive. We trust them completely.
I had to go out of town, and the EAC was very accommodating to my schedule. Thanks for all you do.
Took our dog into the animal hospital late Sunday evening. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. They did not seem to be trying to get us to order my services- they gave him and shot and said he was stable until he could see his regular vet on Monday. It was similar to a normal ER visit for a person. I would definitely recommend this place.
HanaBelle survive her little critical care. We rescued her right after we had to rehome my nieces cat(I'm allergic to cats). She has been in the hospital...
My cat developed some symptoms that were very irritating to him and began to get worse. ( open wound under one ear) I brought him in and was greated by a very nice receptionist, who checked me in right away. Every staff member was not only accommodating to me, but as I sat in the waiting area, I observed how each staff member treated each patient and their owner with the upmost care and respect. The doctor diagnosed the problem my cat was having ( turned out he had a busted ear drum!) and patiently explained to me about the ear drum, and also how she was going to treat the wound and gave me explicit instructions on what I should do afterwards.
I just have to give a big thank you to everyone at this animal hospital. On Saturday our huskies got in a big tussle resulting in one's ear getting split....
I went in with my senior dog at 6:30 this morning and was so scared and left relieved. Luckily, my pet's issue was resolved but moreover the staff and vet were wonderful. Genevieve at the front desk was extremely kind and called someone up to get my dog seen quickly. Eric came up to take him back and listened to everything I had to say about my dog's medical history and current issue. By the end of the visit my dog seemed to have made a new friend in him. Dr. Bridges was kind and informative. The examination was thorough and treatment was spot on. We had zero wait time to get my dog seen and were out of the office under 2 hours. I expected, due to the nature of emergent care, to pay a lot but honestly the prices weren't as bad as I'd anticipated. By the time I arrived at my regular vet to update them and give them a copy of the ER records, they had already received them via fax. Hopefully, I will never need emergent services again but I can tell you without a doubt that if I do I will return here!
I can't say enough good things about this place. I had a dog emergency on Saturday night. The staff was so friendly, professional and informative. I was in very quickly and they let me know what step was next all the way through the visit. The place was clean and I felt comfortable leaving my baby there overnight. When I called to check on her the phone was answered very quickly and they let me know right away and in detail of how my baby was doing. Dr. Rainey was great in explaining to me what was wrong with my dog and what options I had. The Tech, Angela was fantastic and very caring. The receptionist, Mili was also very friendly and professional. I will go back there again if I ever have another emergency. I'm so grateful they are open 24/7 on the weekends. My baby is doing just fine and I owe it all to them!!!
I was absolutely heartbroken and freaked out whenever I brought my dog in, and the staff was so patient and kind! I would highly recommend this emergency vet...
Boy its expensive, but I would pay it to them a thousand times over for what they did for us. My cat had a kitten stuck in the birth canal, and we all thought it was dead, and they managed to not only remove it and save the kitten without a c-section, but took very good care of my mommy cat, the newborn, and myself, as I was a hysterical mess. They worked with me kindly and spoke to me gently and as though I were a human being and truly wanted to help. They didn't do anything without explaining it to me clearly and worked with me about options, and worked quickly which was important. But most of all they saved the kitten that was thought to have died! It is worth the money, my baby was saved. They even brought me to the back to see the baby and mommy and they all seemed happy about the new kitten.
If your pet has an emergency, go here.
Every single person I interacted with here was amazing! So friendly and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. It’s not somewhere you plan on going but if you have to it’s definitely the place to go!
Truly compassionate service with tender loving care for our bird. I would definitely go back to this animal hospital for annual checkups. Highly recommended animal care service!
He took phenomenal care of our cats, thoroughly examining them and accurately diagnosing their problems.
On Tuesday of this week (9/19/2017) we lost our beloved golden retriever Tequila. We are absolutely heartbroken over losing her. But we could not have asked for a more compassionate team of professionals than those that assisted us early that morning when we brought her in for care. It was her time, and after over 12 years of loving companionship and faithful friendship, she past.
Just yesterday we received the kindest sympathy card from Dr. Darcey and the team at the clinic. On the card was Tequila's paw print in ink. One last physical memory of her for us to cherish. We were so moved when we read the card. Words cannot express our heart felt gratitude to the Emergency Animal Hospital of Collin County, Dr. Darcey, and the team that helped us through a very difficult time in our lives. Dog lovers just get it. God bless.
